There are nutty and spicy notes in the 2019 La Grande Cuvée, a Godello with an extended élevage of 48 months (four years) in 500-liter barrels. 2019 was a very warm year in the zone, and the wine is a little riper and rounder than the 2018. But this keeps the poise and balance, and the oak feels nicely integrated and folded into the fruit. It has 13.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.2 and notes of hay and straw and a serious palate with a chalky texture. It's tasty and long. 1,200 bottles were filled in September 2023.
