Orben Chocolate nº 4

The NV Chocolate Nº4, which used to be an Izadi wine, is a blend of wines from 2022, 2023 and 2024, approximately 35% Garnacha Blanca and Garnacha Roya from Labastida, 35% Maturana Blanca also from Laguardia and 30% Viura from Villabuena, fermented separately in stainless steel and matured in concrete egg, 500-liter barrels and 1,200-liter oak foudres. It has 13.7% alcohol, a pH of 3.15 and 6.2 grams of acidity. It's powerful but with great freshness and with a mineral mouthfeel and a salty twist. It has notes of white flowers and some faintly exotic spices and is quite balanced and harmonious, clean and expressive. 5,490 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2025.
