Tres Navíos Tempranillo 2021

From the same partnership with a grower in Cigales that produced the Tres Navíos Clarete, they also got red grapes to produce a 2021 Tres Navíos Tempranillo, a red from vineyards that also have Garnacha and, they suspect, Bobal, with which they try to produce a juicy and fresh wine with contained ripeness and alcohol (13.5%) through a soft extraction and finishing the fermentation with only half of the skins. It matured in 600-liter barrels for one year. It's fresh, floral, stony and expressive, with complexity and elegance, clean and nuanced. It has a medium-bodied palate and is fine-boned, with elegant tannins. 1,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2023.
