The white from Ribera del Duero, the 2019 Meraldis Albillo Mayor Vinificación Integral was produced on a very small scale and is a very gastronomical wine. It has a completely different and unusual nose, with hints of chicken broth, celery and a salty twist. It's produced with grapes from individual vines interplanted with the reds in the old vineyards. It fermented and matured in 500-liter barrels with the full lees, and the wine is round and complex, with a velvety mouthfeel, fine tannins and a chalky feeling. It finishes very tasty. It's a white for the table, complex and nuanced.
