The gentler 2022 Senderos de Ukan has more red fruit and a higher-pitched nose. I think it's true to the aim of producing a fine-boned wine with balance, fruit-driven but with good structure and freshness, ready to be enjoyed from the beginning. It has a bright floral nose, with a spicy twist, good ripeness and 14.4% alcohol, a medium-bodied palate and fine tannins. It was selected from five vineyards, fermented with selected yeasts in concrete and matured in used 225-liter French oak barrels for 11 months. 19,200 bottles and 800 magnums produced. It was bottled in July 2024.
