Trotamundos Blanco 2020

The 2016 Trotamundos is different from the initial 2015, as it's a wine that is going to change every year. This year, it's a 50/50 blend of Viura and Maturana Blanca that aged with the lees for two winters; the first year was in oak foudre, and then the wine was blended and put back in a tank for another year. The profile has changed, and there's more white fruit, with less ripeness and oak than in 2015. It has notes of pollen and white pepper and a palate with good volume and compensating freshness. It finishes long and dry, with a chalky, mineral-like sensation. 3,000 bottles were filled in June 2018.
