The nose of the 2023 Maceración con Pieles combines the exuberance of the Albariño grape with the aromas obtained with the fermentation in contact with the skins. The result is intoxicating, a mixture of peach and apricot with wildflowers. It is perhaps a little overwhelming for food, getting close to the aromas of a Moscatel, with notes of orange blossom and mint. The palate is of course pure granite, extracting even more from the skins, when the fine tannins get together with the granularity from the soil. It's quite unique, not very Albariño or Rías Baixas in the traditional way. It was in contact with the skins for two weeks and then pressed and matured in Austrian acacia foudre for nine months without being racked or going through malolactic. 1,370 bottles produced.
