The white 2023 Loco is one of the few Garnacha Blancas from the region, as they managed to find two old vineyards, 66 and 72 years of age, respectively. Half of the grapes fermented in 500-liter barriques with bâtonnage and the other half were in tank with fine lees. It has a golden color and a nuanced and powerful nose, with some notes of bay leaf that give it a medicinal/balsamic tone, with yellow fruit and pollen. It's not a shy white; it's powerful, round, lush and ripe, with 14% alcohol, a low pH of 3.2 and 4.6 grams of acidity. It finishes with a faint bitter twist. It develops a lot of complexity five years after it's bottled. 2,810 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2024.
